Strength training is one of the most powerful—yet misunderstood—tools for healthy aging. This course explores how building and maintaining muscle supports mobility, balance, bone health, and independence long before age-related limitations appear. Participants will learn why waiting to address strength until later in life often leads to preventable challenges, and how simple, accessible strength habits can be integrated at any age. A brief movement demonstration will illustrate foundational exercises and concepts, making the material practical and relatable. This course is designed for community members of all fitness levels who want to take a proactive approach to aging well.
